Going Your Way
If you prefer custom service and our undivided attention
for yourself, your family, or small group, we are happy to oblige! When
you hire a private guide, we guarantee to hike at your pace, to address
your interests and to find the right trail for you.
Half day private walks or hikes get you
into the mountains for four to five hours. Full day
private hikes mean six to eight hours on the trail.
Consider capping off your adventure with a chocolate
mountain high: Fondue with a View.
Or, check out Special Theme Hikes
where you spend the day focused on one big topic: birds, bears,
wildflowers, co-evolution, water, larches or mountains and glaciers.

What you need to know
From mid-July to the end of our season, we are very
busy. We recommend that you book early, especially if you want a
private hike.
But do contact us,
even at the last minute! You never know.
w Season:
June 1 - September 30.
w Maximum: 12
people per guide. Up to 2 guides are available.
w Children of
all ages welcome on private hikes.
w We do not
provide transportation. You will be taking your own vehicle for maximum
flexibility.
w A waiver
must be signed.
w Some extra
equipment is available.
w Weather is
highly variable in the mountains and can range from summer to winter
conditions in all months.
w Dress in
layers, and plan to bring:
- sturdy footwear with good grip
- rain gear
- winter hat & gloves or mitts (even in summer!)
- sunscreen & sunhat
- water & food. |
